New Delhi: Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the assasination of former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddiqui by one of the notorious gang. He stated that this incident reflects a complete failure of law and order in the state.
In a heartfelt statement, Maulana Madani extended his condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to the deceased’s son, Zeeshan Siddiqui (Congress MLA), and other family members. He conveyed his solidarity during this difficult time and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased, urging the family to find strength and patience.
In light of the incident, Maulana Madani has personally traveled to Mumbai to offer his condolences to the grieving family. He pointed out that the resurgence of underworld influence in Mumbai clearly demonstrates the state’s inability to uphold the rule of law.
“Communalism, terrorism, and gang violence cannot be part of any civilized society,” he asserted, emphasizing the need for collective action against these issues. He further stated that the government must take full responsibility for this alarming situation and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly.
Maulana Madani reiterated that the safety and security of citizens is the foremost responsibility of the state, and any failure in this regard must be addressed immediately.
